Congratulations
and a special thanks to Professor Kondagunta Sivaprasad (known to everyone as Professor Siva)
for his dedication to education, research and
service at the University of New Hampshire. Professor Siva join the
Department of Electrical and Computer at UNH in 1969 and will be retiring at the
end of May 2009.
Professor Siva received his Bachelor of Engineering degree from the University of Madras in 1956 and the SM and Ph.D. at Harvard University in Applied Physics in 1958 and 1963 respectively. Over the past forty years Professor Siva has taught courses in Electromagnetics, Underwater Acoustics, Probability (Random variables), Engineering Analysis, Electric/Electronic Circuits and many other electrical engineering topics.
Faculty, staff, students and friends joined together on Friday May 15 to express their thanks to Professor Siva and wish him well as he begins those wonderful retirement years.
